Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Summer Camp Facilitator to join our team at Workcentral on a contract basis for the summer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and organizing camp activities ensuring the safety and wellbeing of campers and providing an engaging and educational camp experience. This role requires strong leadership skills a passion for working with children and the ability to thrive in an outdoor and fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan lead and facilitate a variety of camp activities including games arts and crafts sports and educational workshops.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all campers by following established safety protocols and procedures.
- Create a positive and inclusive camp environment that encourages participation and fosters a sense of community.
- Supervise and mentor campers providing guidance support and conflict resolution as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents providing updates on camp activities and addressing any concerns.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of camp facilities and equipment.
- Collaborate with other camp staff to develop and implement camp schedules and programs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance incidents and camper progress.
- Stay uptodate with best practices in camp facilitation and youth development.
