Job Description
BIW Design & Development Manager / Lead Engineer
Define India Local requirements in SORs Technical Review and Technical
assessment of the supplier.
Benchmarking Design Review and DFMEA review of components
Development meeting / Process review with suppliers and CFT.
Cost reduction / VAVE / Quality Improvement / Design Changes & Improvement
Organizing Proto development and testing.
Support development of BIW parts Inhouse / Supplier end
Support in testing of the BIW parts at supplier or inhouse or at external agencies.
Vehicle Build Trials support issue handling Root Cause Analysis and
countermeasures from Mule to Saleable
Running PDT meetings for smooth development & meeting program timeline till
implementation
Validation Durability and Reliability issues monitoring and resolution on Vehicles
Root Cause Analysis for Engineering issues of testing inplant or field issues &
Design countermeasures
Quality/Warranty issues both predictive (during development) and reactive (Post
Launch)
Hands on Experience in 3D CAD (UGNX or CATIA) 2D Drawing and GD&T
knowledge is must.
