Planet Carrier & Valve Body Machining Manufacturing Engineering

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

1. Responsible for Manufacturing process related to Planet Carrier & Valve Body Machining to meet Organisational Objectives.
2. Systematic Implementation of TPM with cost effective

approach.

1. Budget and cost control of Tooling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop Manufacturing Process Manufacturing Sequence dimensional tolerancing & quality plan.
2. Development of Manufacturing Process on VTL HMC Gear Shaping Power Skiving Leak Test Bush pressing Balancing and Washing process.
3. Perform Initial Production Approval for new products Raw material change Process change Final print drawing change.
4. Machine capability study for significant / features
5. Establish Process Document like Control Plan Tool Layout Tool Assembly Work Instruction Graphical Verification Check
6. Process Failure mode & Effect Analysis (PFMEA) Lead a cross functional team & potential failure modes will be analysed to mitigate their root cause.
7. IMS Procedure for Manufacturing Engineering & Tooling management.
8. Design approval Process for New fixtures lifting tackle and Cutting tools.
9. Procurement of New fixtures Tooling accessories tooling spares and their maintenance.
10. Localization of Cutting Tools accessories and validation of tools.
11. Conducting trials along with Vendor to reduce tool cost & tool life improvement.
12. MIS report of Tools consumption Tools Breakage & Cost savings.
13. Inventory Management of Tools accessories and their traceability in Tool Storage system.
14. Preparation for Tooling Budget based on projection of Production volume as per Business plan.
15. Tool life monitoring of through History Card and opportunity for improvement.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1215 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering & CNC Machining.
