The Role
As our Head of Finance you will manage and optimize all financial activities and lead our Finance team. Reporting to our CEO/CFO you will be responsible for the accurate reporting of financial results managing Zenjobs financial affairs and coordinating with the audit firm tax advisory firm banks tax office and external service providers.

Your role in our team
- Lead a team of up to 9 FTEs with plans for further hiring as the company grows.
- Partner with the CFO to support strategic decisions through quantitative analyses.
- Collaborate with Sales Product & Engineering Operations People & Culture and Legal departments.
- Establish structures and processes for national and international expansion within the EU.
- Drive business plan development budget processes and monthly financial closings with presentations to management and shareholders.
What youll bring
- At least 2 years of people management experience including team leadership hiring feedback and training programs.
- You have worked in fastpaced dynamic companies (e.g. startups scaleups) before and enjoy this handson and pragmatic collaboration with stakeholders
- Ability to work handson in operational tasks and support financial decisionmaking.
- Strong organizational skills for leading companywide projects and a keen interest in process improvement and documentation.
- Proficient in Excel preferably SQL with experience in databases/BI systems and good knowledge of accounting standards (P&L and balance sheet); familiarity with DATEV and annual audit processes; fluent in German and English(oral and writing).
