Job Description

The Business Development position is calling on the northeast territory of the USA (PA RI NY MA ME CT VT NH). This is a remotely based position but candidates must already be located in one of those states. This role will require frequent travel to cities in the states listed and potentially others. Attendance at Sales Meetings and training in corporate offices would also be required.

Our USAbased client engineers and manufactures a comprehensive line of truckmounted electric and hydraulic cranes crane bodies crane control technologies and accessories. They're a leader in the industry and due to their growth we are searching for a new outside sales representative. This person can work remotely but must be located in the northeastern part of the United States preferably close to a major airport.

You will be selling directly to heavyduty mobile equipment and truck dealerships across the northwest area of the USA. Travel expectation is 50%. You will manage your schedule to facilitate and lead presentations to customers. Additionally you will:

  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate effectively with various functional teams including Engineering and Operations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business engineering marketing or related field is preferred and a minimum of two years industrial outside sales experience with a demonstrated success in growing sales volume. Those with considerable applicable experience will be considered.
  • Experience in selling heavy equipment/machinery aftermarket parts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and engaging presentation skills with the ability to articulate a value proposition to a wide range of organizations and functional levels.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiating and closing complex deals which involve prospecting proposal development relationship development and management and leadership.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude selfmotivated confident and tenacious.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
