JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE:
This role will be responsible for managing the digital payments P&L focusing on internet payment gateway solutions (IPG) and open banking partnerships with fintechs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our online payments and open banking initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy & Leadership:
Define and lead the strategic direction for the online payments and Open Banking portfolio and ensure alignment with the banks overall business strategy.
- P&L Management:
Oversee the full P&L for the online payment systems.
Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability while managing costs effectively.
- Product Development:
Lead the development and enhancement of UBL payment gateway and Open Banking offerings to ensure they meet market needs regulatory requirements and prioritize product roadmap.
- Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with payment schemes technology providers regulatory bodies and other thirdparty agents to maximize value for the bank.
- Strategic Projects:
Lead the product development of strategic projects like Raast and UBL Payments aggregator to maintain competitiveness.
- Partnership development:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with fintechs and other financial institutions for open banking initiatives.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Market analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the competitive positioning of UBL Pay s digital payment solutions.
- Customer Focus:
Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction across all digital payment and open banking services.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve service offerings - Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure all products comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Implement risk management strategies to protect the bank and its customers from financial risks.
- Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of product managers analysts and other supporting staff.
Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and accountability within the team.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor s Degree or Preferably MBA (from a reputed university)
Minimum Experience:
- At least 78 years of professional experience
- A background in managing P&L and Digital Payment products
