Executive - QA

Responsibility

Job Challenges:

(1) Analysis after identification of issues in shopfloor.

(2) Put in place containment / corrective / preventive actions after discussing with all stake holders.

(3) Identify the proper RCA for Defects / Complaints.

Key Accountability Statement:

• Process audit stage wise in vitrified module including super finishing module
  
• Kiln validation observation. CAPA if required.
  
• Dry house validation observation CAPA if required
  
• Active participation in internal loss reduction
  
• Analysis & reduction of COPQ
  
• Active participation in Six sigma project based on defect or production requirement.
  
• Process improvement to reduce loss in green stage (project works)
  
• Active participation in QM pillar activity.
  

Key Interactions:

1 Internal: Manufacturing Process Stage wise Audit Audit findings to be discussed Counter actions for the gap to be addressed.

Process Improvements to be carried out after analyzing defects generated during the process / Customer complaints / Improving efficiency.

2 Internal: Technical Carrying out Process improvement in coordination with Manufacturing & Technical with proper documentation.

3 Internal: QA Identification and classification of defects in vitrified products analysis CAPA with proper documentation

4 Internal: Maintenance identification of the potential failures which are Critical to Quality & inform maintenance for appropriate corrections.

5 Internal: Moulds identification of the potential failures which are Critical to Quality & inform moulds for appropriate corrections.

Requirements

Educational qualifications (Threshold educational background required to execute the role) : B.E in Ceramic engineering

Relevant experience (Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role) : 2 to 5 years experience in handling the Process Quality. Experienced in industries like ceramics refractories chemical polymer and material science organizations.

Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role : Knowledge on vitrified grinding wheels Ceramic grains Vitrified bonds & Kiln operation.
