- Video Editor - LatAm

We are looking for a selfdriven video editor to join our team. As an Associate Video Editor your primary duty will be to develop and assist in the development of short form video ads for clients. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about using their editing skills to tell a compelling story and help our customers grow their businesses.

Position: Video Editor
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary Range: $2500 $3000 USD (based on experience)
Type of contract: Independent contractor.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Source online footage and assets.
• Revise videos based on Sr. Editor feedback.
• Upload and organize files in Frame.io.
• Update project statuses in Notion.
• Communicate with the Sr. Editor on a daily basis via Slack.
• Be proactive and capable of concepting storyboarding editing and finishing dynamic videos in a fast paced environment.
• Own the music selection sound mixing and finishing for all videos.
• Ensure quality control and accuracy with final edits.
• Collaborate daily with creative colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment.
• Manage all digital assets within company managed creative storage solutions.
• Transcode render and manage the database for all final assets.
• Selfmanage tasks and accurately scope project timelines.
• Proactively anticipate challenges and provide practical solutions.

Requirements:

Hard Skills:

• 2 years of proven editing work experience (preferably within an agency or design studio).
• Digital portfolio with work that covers video editing and sound design for Meta ad creatives.
• Solid understanding of video principles including arrangement color theory pacing and audio.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and proficient in Figma.
• Fluent in English (Spoken and written candidate must be proficient presenting work in English).
