As a Technical Security Engineer you will:

• Devise and implement Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) based on Elastic (ELK) technology.
  
• Work closely with the Security Organization and Operations engineers from various DevOps teams.
  
• Contribute to an efficient safe and reliable information exchange within the Ministry of Justice and Security.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Technical Security Officer (TSO) or similar position.
  
• Experience in setting up SIEM based on Elastic (ELK) technology at multiple clients.
  
• Ability to translate SIEM use cases into technical realization in any technology.
  
• Experience in a Windows server environment (server 2019 and newer versions) Microsoft HyperV and Redhat.
  
• Experience setting up Elastic Agents and pushing these agents from a central fleet server in an offline environment.
  
• Experience processing network logging in SIEM.
  
• Experience creating dashboards in Kibana (Elastic) and insight into large amounts of log data with Logstash (Elastic).
  
• HBO work and thinking level.
  
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English language.
  
• Ability to start with a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
  
• Ability to pass a VGBB screening.
