Requirements

*Completed training as an IT specialist or studies in the IT field

*Min 3 years of experience in network technologies (switching routing WLAN LAN WAN network management firewall)

*Experience with MS server operating systems and domain structures applications in the Windows environment

*Experience or basic knowledge in the Linux / Unix environment desirable

*Initial experience in dealing with databases

*Knowledge of virtual servers and storage environments

*Professional experience with workstation environments including user support

*Cisco certificates in routing / switching are advantageous as well as further expertise where applicable (e.g. Microsoft MCITP / MCSA / MCSE VMware Citrix Commvault HP Aruba Lancom Watchguard)

Tasks & Responsibilities

*Installation configuration and operation of Microsoft server environments

*Installation configuration and operation of virtualization solutions and clusters

*Installation configuration and operation of network structures

*Creation and maintenance of system documentation and operating manuals

*System maintenance and 2nd level support of customer systems

*System maintenance and support for complex internal systems in our own data center

*Error analysis and troubleshooting
