Senior Engineering Manager

Job Description

Senior Engineering Manager to lead design and manufacturing engineers in an equipment or machinery assembly operation.

Provide strategic direction and vision to its Engineering Teams.

• Focus Engineering team on creating technical innovations in Electrical Mechanical and Automation Systems
• Create and implement achievable KPIs for quality performance delivery and cost for all products.
• Develop new leaders and motivate engineering team through technical direction and guidance.
• Optimize operating efficiencies between manufacturing sites.
• Advance business strategy through innovative product launches engaging ME’s EE’s and Automation Engineers

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required AND / OR sufficient career experience; MBA preferred but not required

15 years Technical Leadership experience
Innovative thinker with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
Experience in building mentoring and coaching a team of engineering professionals
Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
Ability to quickly make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
Energetic flexible collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives. Not afraid to have an opinion across business operations.
