Job Description

Compliance Analyst (AML/ATF)

We are seeking (2) dedicated and detailoriented Compliance Analysts specializing in AntiMoney Laundering (AML) and AntiTerrorist Financing (ATF) for a client in the insurance industry. Reporting to the AML/ATF Program Manager the successful candidates will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with AML/ATF regulations through effective monitoring investigation and case management.

Hourly salary of $29.30.
6month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Transaction Assessment: Utilize judgment and knowledge of money laundering patterns to assess suspicious transactions conduct thorough investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
Alert Investigation: Investigate and assess risks of alerts identified by the clients customer risk assessment tools. Maintain accurate records and audit trails of investigation activities and dispositions.
Case Reporting: Prepare comprehensive case reports detailing investigation activities risk assessments and recommended remediation actions.

What you will need to succeed:

Postsecondary education is required.
CAMS certification is considered an asset.
2 years of experience in AML/ATF roles.
Strong understanding of AML/ATF regulations and risk management principles.
Excellent time management organizational research investigative and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management.
Ability to operate independently and take responsibility to achieve compliance objectives.
Adherence to high ethical standards and a professional attitude.
