Job Description

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a leading company in the Factory Automation industry! In this resultsoriented role youll be responsible for generating significant sales growth within a designated territory encompassing the M62 corridor and above including Scotland.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets for the companys Factory Automation product portfolio.
  • Build a Sustainable Business: Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and prospects across various target markets including Packaging Machine OEMs Special Purpose Machine Builders Food & Beverage and Assembly/Handling sectors.
  • Lead Generation & Account Management: Proactively generate qualified leads through various channels manage the sales pipeline effectively and foster longterm relationships with existing accounts.
  • Expert Presentations & Engagement: Deliver compelling sales presentations demonstrations and proposals to capture customer interest and secure deals.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with internal teams (engineering marketing) and external partners (distributors) to ensure successful project execution.
  • CRM Mastery: Utilize the companys CRM system effectively to manage customer data track opportunities and generate insightful reports.

Youll be a great fit if you have:

  • 35 years of experience in B2B sales preferably within Factory Automation or a related industry.
  • A strong understanding of sales methodologies and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers at all levels.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and a knack for organization and data management.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and a commitment to continuous professional development.
