Job Description:
Maintain and improve ergonomics programs to assure compliance with applicable federal state local and company EH&S requirements.
Work with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent ergonomic injuries.
Develop and delivers ergonomics related training and presentations to promote awareness and compliance.
Support and implement site injury reduction and ergonomic goals and initiatives.
Answer employee compliance questions/concerns and influence safe behaviors.
Conduct first aid and OSHA injury investigations and root cause analysis. Identify corrective actions and track to completion.
Interpret and apply OSHA EPA DOT NIOSH ANSI NFPA IFC IBC and other applicable regulations and standards.
Manage and provide support to other site EH&S program areas as needed.
Analysis of leading and lagging safety performance indicators for trends to drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with individuals and teams across the business.
Effectively organize prioritize and address multiple simultaneous projects or tasks.
Required Skill Sets:
Bachelors of Science major in ergonomics human kinetics kinesiology human engineering or a STEM field or equivalent experience.
Desired Skill Sets:
Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP) Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
Experience with EHS project or program management.
Experience in providing and/or developing EHS training.
