Job Description: Latam Real Estate Financial Controller
Our client is a longterm holding company dedicated to buying and building beautiful businesses and stewarding them with exceptional valuesdriven leadership. We are currently looking for a Real Estate Financial Controller with a minimum of 7 years of leadership and management experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations for Latam Real Estate division
Manage financial reporting and analysis
Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize performance
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies
Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
Provide financial guidance on investment decisions
Monitor cash flow and budgeting
Lead financial forecasting and planning processes
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting or related field
Familiar with SEC reporting requirements / etc. Someone who has experience with raising capital and reporting requirements.
CPA or CFA certification preferred not a deal breaker
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices
Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
Desired Experience:
3 years of experience as a financial controller preferably for a Real Estate Firm or a company that deals with capital investments / funds
In a years time this real estate entity will have 68 properties under management. Although this is a senior role they will also be doing basic bookkeeping of fundlevel expenses. They also do monthly reconciliation and yearend tax coordination with the CPA.
They will also be materially involved in reporting the success of their properties for their investors and reporting the metrics.
Experience with international finance and regulations
