Position: EMS Certification Coordinator

Location: Marlborough MA 01752

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide program assistance for Emergency Medical Services specifically related to EMT certification.
• Offer telephone and email support to EMTs review applications and assist with clerical tasks to support certification and education.
• Review electronic and paper applications in accordance with established procedures processing them through electronic computer systems.
• Deliver customer service via telephone and email to certified personnel assisting in maintaining or reinstating EMT certification by answering questions based on established procedures or collecting information for followup.
• Assist individuals in verifying past or current certification.
• Process and maintain records related to certification and recertification.

Requirements:

• Ability to deal tactfully with others.
• Skill in assembling information according to established procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to determine proper format and procedure for organizing information.
• Strong multitasking skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Proficiency in common computer applications (Microsoft Outlook Adobe Pro Word Excel and Access).
• Ability to write concisely express thoughts clearly and develop ideas logically.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to give precise understandable written and oral instructions.
