The ideal candidate will possess expertlevel skills in Unix/Linux system administration kernel parameter tuning and automation using Ansible.

Responsibilities:

• System Administration:
  • Manage and maintain Unix/Linux systems ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform kernel parameter tuning to optimize system performance.
• Automation:
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible for system configuration deployment and management.
  • Create automated build and deployment scripts to streamline processes.
• Performance Testing:
  • Conduct system performance testing to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Analyze and report on system performance metrics providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Security:
  • Ensure the security and integrity of systems through thorough understanding and implementation of security best practices.
  • Identify and address system vulnerabilities and security threats.
• Deployment:
  • Oversee the build and deployment processes ensuring smooth and efficient rollouts of updates and new applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertlevel proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration.
• Extensive experience with kernel parameter tuning.
• Proven ability to automate system tasks using Ansible.
• Strong background in system performance testing and issue identification.
• Skilled in creating automated build and deployment scripts.
• Indepth understanding of system security practices and protocols.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. Red Hat Certified Engineer Linux Professional Institute Certification).
• Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and virtualization technologies.
