Interior Design Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Interior Design Associate to join our Real Estate Infrastructure Supply Chain (RESC) department. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in interior design within the real estate industry. As an Interior Design Associate you will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of interior design projects ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for real estate projects.

2. Coordinating with the builder/ Land owner for building CAD drawings.

3. Assist in the preparation of design presentations including mood boards material samples and 3D renderings.

4. Conduct research on current design trends materials and finishes to ensure the incorporation of the latest industry standards.

5. Assist in the selection and specification of furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for interior spaces.

6. Coordinate with vendors contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of FF&E.

7. Assist in the preparation of detailed construction documents including floor plans elevations and specifications.

8. Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of interior design projects and ensure compliance with design intent.

9. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

10. Maintain a strong knowledge of building codes regulations and industry standards related to interior design.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Interior Design or a related field.

2. 2 to 5 years of experience in interior design preferably within the real estate industry.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.

4. Strong understanding of space planning color theory and materials selection.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

7. Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

8. Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.

9. Professional certification in interior design is desirable.

The three main skills are mandatory: MEP AutoCAD and 3D designing.
