Position Overview: The Head of School / Principal is a senior leadership

position responsible for the overall management and administration of the college a coeducational secondary school in IleIfe Osun State. The Head of School will provide strategic leadership foster an environment of

academic excellence oversee staff development ensure effective communication and marketing and manage the overall wellbeing of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Vision:
   • Develop and communicate a clear vision and mission for the school's educational and cultural development.
   • Provide strategic direction and inspire a culture of continuous improvement among staff students and stakeholders.
   • Foster a positive and collaborative school climate that promotes innovation and student success.
2. Academic Excellence:
   • Oversee the development and implementation of a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum aligned with national and international standards.
   • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning to ensure academic excellence and student achievement.
   • Implement effective assessment and evaluation practices to measure student progress.
3. Pastoral Care:
   • Create a supportive and inclusive school environment that promotes the social emotional and mental wellbeing of students.
   • Implement effective pastoral care programs to address student needs and concerns.
   • Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment.
4. Staff Professional Development:
   • Provide leadership and support for the professional growth and development of teaching and nonteaching staff.
   • Coordinate and facilitate professional development workshops seminars and training opportunities.
