Job Description
JOB TITLE: Process Engineer
Our client is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Production Manager the Process Engineer will support the operations team by optimizing efficiency conducting complex troubleshooting and managing improvement projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect data needed for improvements and modifications
Conduct process optimization through plant and instrument audits
Investigate and troubleshoot plant/process issues
Liaise with quality control to ensure optimal input quality and control product quality
Provide technical support to the operations team to overcome process bottlenecks
Schedule and coordinate work to meet tight deadlines and stay within financial budgets
Ensure equipment operates according to specifications and appropriate capacities
Collaborate with installation/project engineers and specialists on new equipment installations
Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Chemical and Process Engineering
Registered with Engineering body (ERB)
Over 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry preferably in cement
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve engineering problems
Experience with ERP systems
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of computeraided audit tools
Excellent presentation and reportwriting skills
Unquestionable character and integrity
A good team player who is selfmotivated creative innovative and focused
