Position: Construction Estimator

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 95 pm CST

We're looking for a detailoriented and proactive Construction Estimator to join our thriving team! You'll be a key player in driving sales and project success by providing accurate estimates communicating effectively and collaborating seamlessly with others. This role offers the chance to:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare job costings and invoices for construction projects using construction management software.
• Assist with bidding projects after gaining experience with job costing. (We utilize construction management software.)
• Manage vendor invoices via email tracking and inputting data into construction management software.
• Independently bid on specific project segments.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and manage invoices.
• Gain a thorough understanding of project/program requirements.
• Select metrics to generate accurate estimates.
• Gather necessary data by reviewing documents or consulting with experts.
• Analyze data and create forecasts.
• Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to relevant parties.
• Develop relationships with key vendors (subcontractors architects etc.)

Requirements:

• Must Have: C1 English level with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tools: Experience with construction management software QuickBooks Online (we can provide coaching) and Builder Trend (construction management software and invoicing).
• Preferred: Prior experience working within a construction company.
• 25 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record as a construction estimator.
• Basic understanding of accounting/bookkeeping and project management principles.
• Deep knowledge of research methodology data analysis and estimation metrics.
• Comfort with working with numbers and technology.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Engineering Construction Science or a relevant field is a major plus.
