Position: Construction Estimator
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 95 pm CST

Scope of the Role: We're looking for a detailoriented and proactive Construction Estimator to join our thriving team! You'll be a key player in driving sales and project success by providing accurate estimates communicating effectively and collaborating seamlessly with others. This role offers the chance to:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare job costings and invoices for construction projects using construction management software.
- Assist with bidding projects after gaining experience with job costing. (We utilize construction management software.)
- Manage vendor invoices via email tracking and inputting data into construction management software.
- Independently bid on specific project segments.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and manage invoices.
- Gain a thorough understanding of project/program requirements.
- Select metrics to generate accurate estimates.
- Gather necessary data by reviewing documents or consulting with experts.
- Analyze data and create forecasts.
- Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to relevant parties.
- Develop relationships with key vendors (subcontractors architects etc.)
Requirements:
- Must Have: C1 English level with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tools: Experience with construction management software QuickBooks Online (we can provide coaching) and Builder Trend (construction management software and invoicing).
- Preferred: Prior experience working within a construction company.
- 25 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record as a construction estimator.
- Basic understanding of accounting/bookkeeping and project management principles.
- Deep knowledge of research methodology data analysis and estimation metrics.
- Comfort with working with numbers and technology.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Engineering Construction Science or a relevant field is a major plus.
