Job Description

Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager
Reading PA

With a strong history the future of US Anodize is bright and the Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager will play a key role in helping the organization continue to grow. Along with handson oversight of all functional accounting operations this position will collaborate with leadership on the company’s financial performance and support strategic initiatives.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all accounting functions and operations including accounts payable accounts receivable ledger maintenance revenue cost asset and tax accounting.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures that comply with accounting principles regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain all financial data for audits and statistical records. Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Evaluate accounting processes and systems; Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs and take proactive measures to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Provide information to help analyze financial performance assist in identifying trends and present recommendations to management on short and longterm financial objectives and policies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to establish financial targets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Develop and guide an HR Admin as well as an Office Admin.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual insurance renewal process.
  • Manage payroll processing and benefits management as well as renewal negotiations.
  • Maintain needed contracts and relationships with vendors; IT Cleaning Copiers Vending etc.
  • Assist with and manage the Financial integrity pieces of the ERP system.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Competencies:
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP principles financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong financial skills analytical abilities and exposure or proficiency in financial modeling budgets forecasting and variance analysis.
  • High level of attention to detail and aboveaverage level of accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple processes and projects.
  • A multitasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills with an ability to prioritize negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external contacts
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams) ERP systems (MetFin or other comparable) and accounting software.


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance accounting or related field or equivalent relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance accounting or related field within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accounting designation is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of human resources and relevant labor laws is preferred.
  • Experience with and knowledge of insurance and benefits.
  • Analytical reasoning and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
