The below client is a subsidiary of Client Motor Company for its operations in India and its Head Quarter is in Sholinganallur Chennai Tamil Nadu. This Client also has integrated manufacturing facilities in Sanand Gujarat.
Job Title: Database Administration Practitioner
Location: Chennai TN 600096
Duration: 24 Months
Job Type: Full Time
Work Type: Onsite
Position Description:
- Providing assistance to the application team in identifying database problems .
- Good Handson working knowledge on Performance Tuning .
- Alwayson Mirroring and Replication.
- Backup and Recovery .
- SQL server Version Database migrations.
- creating and troubleshooting SQL Server Agent Jobs.
- Database Maintenance activity .
- Database files management .
- Good Troubleshooting skill for SSIS package .
- Knowledge on TDE encryption .
- Exposure to TDP / TSM / Veeam for data backup and recovery .
- Database Security adherence.
- Coordinate with customers / other teams / vendors in resolving requests and incidents.
- Process adherence process improvements and knowledge management Automate the daily tasks using PowerShell. 9)Involve in problem management
- Working knowledge on SCOM / Vrops / monitoring tool
Skills Required:
- Strong in SQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoring auditing)
- Strong in PowerShell scripting Terraform coding
- Strong knowledge in any of the google cloud DB technologies ( Cloud SQL PostgreSQL Spanner etc.. )
Experience Required:
- Strong in SQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoring auditing)
- PowerShell scripting Terraform work experience
- Work experience in any of the DB technologies like Mongo PostgreSQL Redis AlloyDB google spanner
Experience Preferred:
- Chef/ Habitat knowledge 2. VRA/VRO knowledge
Education Required:
- B.E B.E Tech MCA
Education Preferred:
- Diploma in IT. Graduate in IT
