Job Description

Job Title: Apptad Solution Architect CRM Senior
Job Location: Remote/21 College Street Toronto Ontario(This position is currently listed as Onsite; however the Assignment under this request will provisionally be Hybrid working)
Job Duration: LongTerm

Job Description:

  • Development & Architecture Support for Public Safety Solutions:
  • Inspectorate of Policing (IOP) Justice Technology Services (JTS) developed and launched a portal for the Inspectorate of Policing (IOP) for public users to submit complaints. The business is looking to extend the portal functionality to receive disclosures and enhance the product further. The business has other needs as well that are being assessed.
  • Office of Chief Coroners (OCC) Develop a CRM solution/strategy for coroners projects like Inquest Management and coroners portals.
  • Riskdriven tracking database (RTD) Design and development of architecture and solutions/enhancements for RTD solution that is based on Microsoft CRM dynamics platform.

  • Deliverable 1: Architecture Design

    Scope:

  • Work with the project team support team and partners in extending and enhancing the IOP Portal. Solution Architecture design assign tasks to the development team
  • Development and Configuration
  • Assessing new needs from the business partners
  • Solution development for Coroners
  • Design enhancements for RTD.
    • Deliverables: Architectural and Design Documentation

    Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience leading the architecture design from conception through implementation.
  • Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures at the specified experience level.
  • Extensive experience with at least various platforms operating systems environments database technologies and communications protocols Experience with middleware and gateways.
  • Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments.
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the design development and implementation of applications.
  • Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.

    Criteria 1: Experience

    Criteria 1 Points 40%

    Criteria 1 Details: Extensive Experience (10 years)

    leading the delivery and design of architecture in collaboration with project implementation activities

    developing baseline architectures API and integration models data mapping from data base fields to APIs

    working directly with clients to effective working relationships obtain buyin for systems design and development promote design and architecture options of systems to stakeholders to obtain decision making.

    Knowledge and experience creating solution architecture documentation.

    provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders management and staff regarding most effective design architecture and system implementation strategies.

    Experience in Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics

    provide guidance and training to project teams on design architecture and project implementation activities

    Criteria 2: Technical Skills

    Criteria 2 Points: 40%

    Criteria 2 Details: Experience with Agile methodologies

    Handson indepth understanding and practical knowledge of Azure technologies Microsoft Power Platform (including but not limited to Power Pages Power Apps Modeldriven apps) .NET DevOps and CRM tools like MS Dynamics.

    Experience in Serviceoriented architecture objectoriented design and user interface development

    Expert knowledge of developing APIs and web services.

    Expertise in the delivery of project and baseline architecture including Business and Information architecture domains IT strategies enterprise architecture principles/methodologies/ Frameworks and guidelines for Enterprise Architecture artifacts/processes

    Knowledge of business process & data modeling analysis reengineering and architecture.

    Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

    Knowledge of both low code development and custom development on Azure

    Preparation of overall architecture solutions conducting walkthroughs reviews and assessments and analyzing the technical and business impact product integration enhancements infrastructure capacity development and deployment data distribution integration and access

    Criteria 3: Communication Consultation and Collaboration Skills

    Criteria 3 Points: 15%

    Criteria 3 Details: Strong communication skills to prepare documentation including but not limited to solution documentation reports reviews assessments

    Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a userfriendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients

    Ability to communicate designs and development in a clear and understandable manner

    Provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders management and staff regarding the most effective design architecture and system implementation strategies enabling ministry business/programs to achieve targeted strategies and objectives

    Criteria 4: Public Sector Experience

    Criteria 4 Points: 5%

    Criteria 4 Details: Experience working in the public sector

    Knowledge Transfer

    • Knowledge to be Transferred: On going process and at the end of the contract
    • Knowledge to be Transferred to: Project Manager/ Team members/ JTS FTE Staff
    • Details of Transfer:
    • Documentation
    • Assign tasks to FTEs to provide hands on experience and learning opportunities
    • Schedule knowledge transfer sessions and provide guidance/ training to FTE staff

    (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Managers requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

    Must haves:

    • Experience leading the architecture design from conception through implementation.
    • Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures at the specified experience level.
    • Extensive experience with at least various platforms operating systems environments database technologies and communications protocols Experience with middleware and gateways.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience working in the public sector (previous experience in JTS will be an asset)
