Position Overview:
We are looking for an HR Generalist who will play a key role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring the delivery of highquality HR services. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resources functions from hiring to onboarding employee compensation to evaluation and employee relations to compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process including job postings screening resumes conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and other company benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues providing support and conflict resolution as needed.
- Conduct new employee orientations and coordinate training programs.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance management processes including annual reviews and goal setting.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Provide guidance to employees on HRrelated matters and company policies.
- Assist with payroll processing and related HR administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles practices and employment laws.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Problemsolving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HR certification (e.g. PHR SHRMCP) is a plus.
