**This job will require someone to be in the DMV area however you can work from home but must be able to be in the office in Laurel MD for mandatory meetings**

As our Director of Commercial Sales & Development your primary goal will be to generate new business opportunities and expand our client base within the commercial construction sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing company and shape its future.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales achievements within the commercial construction industry
  • Has an existing presence and sales contracts in the commercial construction sector locally.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial construction market in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC Metro Area with established industry contacts and relationships
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving business growth in a fastpaced dynamic environment

Responsibilities

As a Director of Commercial Sales & Development you will be responsible for spearheading our business development efforts and establishing strong relationships with potential clients

  • Your primary goal will be to generate new business opportunities and expand our client base within the commercial construction sector in the DMV
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion for the company
  • Identify and target new business opportunities by conducting market research analyzing industry trends and establishing a strong network of contacts
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients and key decisionmakers in the commercial construction industry
  • Generate leads qualify prospects and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing
  • Collaborate with the estimating and project management teams to prepare accurate and competitive bids and proposals for prospective projects
  • Present and showcase the companys capabilities expertise and value proposition to clients through effective sales presentations and meetings
  • Attend industry events trade shows and networking functions to promote the company and establish a strong industry presence
  • Stay updated on market trends industry regulations and emerging opportunities to identify new business prospects and potential partnerships
  • Provide regular sales forecasts reports and updates to the senior leadership team tracking progress against targets and recommending strategies for improvement
