Join Axpo as an IT Cloud Architect and play a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing our IT infrastructure. You will design implement and manage cloud architectures to meet business needs working closely with various IT teams and business units. Your expertise will ensure our cloud solutions are secure scalable and efficient.

What you will do:

• Design and implement cloud architectures and solutions that align with business objectives.
• Advise and support agile product development teams considering holistic architecture development.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to support business processes.
• Develop and maintain architectural guidelines best practices and standards for IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to design cloudbased solutions compliant with security policies.
• Support and guide engineering teams in reverse engineering existing applications.
• Actively participate in IT strategy planning and assist in developing roadmaps for future cloud initiatives.

What you bring & who you are:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Bachelors degree minimum with significant experience).
• At least 5 years as an ICT Architect preferably focused on cloud technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and services.
• Understanding of networking and security concepts related to cloud services.
• Experience with container technologies and microservices architectures is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Teamoriented and openminded.
• Ability to think logically and analyze essential facts.
• Strong customer orientation and quality awareness.
• Excellent communication skills for crossfunctional collaboration and stakeholder presentations.
• Project management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (minimum B2). German is preferred but not essential.
