Location: Various municipalities across BC

Overview: As a Journeyman Lineman you will be responsible for constructing maintaining and repairing overhead and underground electrical power lines and systems. You will work on both routine maintenance and emergency repair tasks to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Install maintain and repair overhead and underground power lines and electrical systems.
  
• Inspect and test power lines and equipment to identify and fix faults.
  
• Perform regular maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure safety and reliability.
  
• Work on live lines and adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  
• Respond to emergency calls and restore power during outages.
  

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program for Linemen.
  
• Journeyman Lineman certification.
  
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and power line maintenance.
  
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in highpressure situations.
  
• Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
