Fire Alarm Systems Specialist
Position Available: March 2024
Location: Midlands
Overview:
Valoris Group Limited is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Fire Alarm Systems Specialist. This role involves the servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems with occasional installation and upgrades.
Role Description:
Our client seeks an experienced professional in the servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems to join their growing team.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining a variety of fire alarm systems.
- General knowledge of BS58391:2017 Standards.
- Experience in the installation upgrade and extension of fire alarm systems.
- Basic knowledge of fire alarm system commissioning.
- Competence in testing emergency lighting.
- Familiarity with 2wire conventional and addressable systems.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally (expenses and accommodation provided).

Compensation and Benefits:
- 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays with an additional day for each year of service (capped at 25 days).
- Salary negotiable based on experience with a sixmonth review.
- Scalable KPI bonus for meeting daily and weekly turnover targets.
- Companyfunded accommodation and an additional 40 per overnight stay (minimal travel away from home).
- Work hours: Monday to Friday 7 am5 pm (with an hour for lunch). Enhanced rates apply for overtime.
