Senior System Admin

NOK Human Capital is hiring Senior System Admin for one of the wellknown Smart Cities located in El Rehab & Madinaty.

Key Job Responsibilities

Design and implement upgrades new systems and software applications to meet changing business needs in collaboration with other IT professionals and departments.

Manage the organizations servers San and NAS storages operating systems and applications ensuring that all systems are uptodate and secure.

Monitor system performance identify and debug issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.

Provide 2nd layer support for the technical support team to resolve hardware and software issues and ensure the efficient operation of IT systems.

Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to protect critical information during system failure.

Create and maintain documentation on IT systems and procedures to ensure smooth operations and facilitate knowledge sharing among IT staff members.

Handle system security access and authorization to protect the organizations data and systems from unauthorized access.

Train and mentor junior IT staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills to effectively manage IT systems and to keep up with technological advancements.

Job Requirements

A bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (MCSE is a must CCNA is an advantage)

Expert knowledge of various operating systems such as Windows Linux and UNIX.

Strong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and HyperV.

Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS DHCP TCP/IP and VPN.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and team members.

Ability to organize priorities manage time effectively and work independently as well as in a team.

Experience managing storage systems such as SAN NAS and RAID.

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to identify troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
