HR Manager - Riga

Position: HR Manager

Location: Riga Latvia (onsite)

Employment type: Fulltime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and lead all HR activities for the new site in Latvia including developing HR policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
• Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees at the new site fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with Latvian employment laws and regulations including labor contracts working hours and employee benefits.
• Collaborate with global HR teams to share best practices align HR strategies and implement global initiatives at the Latvia site.
• Provide leadership and support to the HR team onsite fostering their professional development and growth.
• Stay informed about local employment laws and industry trends continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or related field. Master s degree preferred.
• Min 5 years experience in HR Management roles in an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations with experience in ensuring compliance.
• Proven experience in employee relations performance management and talent development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Fluency in English (C1) and Latvian (C1) languages for effective communication with local and global teams.
