Shift Schedule: 7:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m. 7:00 p.m. 10:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture by following published Laboratory procedures.

Collect adequate and properly labeled specimen

Properly determine current clinician orders in the computer per Laboratory procedures

Perform waived and/or nonwaived testing.

Process specimens for testing and/or shipment to another laboratory for testing.

Make contacts with patients relatives staff members and coworkers in a concerned compassionate and helpful manner.

Promote a harmonious and cooperative working environment in their interaction with coworkers and supervisors

Qualification:

License: Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician State of California

Experience:

• minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience performing venipunctures in a clinic or hospital setting.
