Reason for need:

Platform Operating Model Strategic Tooling: In support of the firmwide deployment and delivery of the strategic tooling for the Platform Operating Model we are starting the implementation of the Apptio Target Process system.

This will enable the Enterprise Platform Operating Model supporting platform leaders in managing their organization using our Agile framework. Support the enablement of managing OKRs and initiatives through funding to PODs monitoring execution and performance against committed business strategy and providing management reporting and oversight metrics.

We will need to expand our Platform Operating Model Strategic Tooling Team to launch this effort. Activities performed will include the implementation of a core strategic tool and supporting the reengineering of existing tools and processes.

Job Description:

• Responsible for determining Apptio application systems requirements the preparation of system specifications and the development testing and implementation of efficient cost effective Apptio application solutions.
• Receives general direction from the Manager.
• Has heavy handson Apptio coding /testing duties and may have some supervisory duties in instructing assigning directing and checking the work of other Apptio TBMAs.
• Assists in planning organizing and controlling Apptio system related initiatives.
• May work with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes for Apptio computing environments technologies and tools.
• Acts as expert Apptio technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
• May coordinate the activities of Apptio with the client area and other areas (e.g. data base telecommunications operations technical support).
• To perform this job successfully an individual must be proficient in architecting Apptio environments.
• Apptio certification preferred though not required.

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an advanced degree and systems analysis and program development experience with some supervisory management and administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in the securities industry or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of securities industry or financial services experience.
• Sound knowledge of the client areas function and systems.
• Indepth knowledge of Apptio.
• Broad knowledge of the system development life cycle.
• Technical handson knowledge of various highlevel programming languages and program development software alternatives.
• Effective managerial and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving decisionmaking and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staffs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
