Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough medical examinations and evaluations of patients
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
• Developing personalized treatment plans and providing ongoing care management
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures
• Providing counseling on lifestyle modifications and disease prevention
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
• Monitoring and managing patients with complex and chronic conditions
• Participating in continuous medical education and staying updated with current medical practices
• Supervising and mentoring medical residents and other healthcare staff
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Engaging in community outreach programs and health education initiatives
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards in healthcare delivery
• Participating in multidisciplinary medical rounds and case conferences
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certification in Family Medicine
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration
• Proven experience as a Family Medicine Physician or Consultant
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical diagnosis and evidencebased treatment
• Strong knowledge of primary care principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patientcentered care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Continuous commitment to professional development and learning
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities
• Understanding of healthcare quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Willingness to engage in community health outreach and education
