Job Description
Sign On: $10000
Relocation Assistance: Eligible for candidates who live 75 miles away from the facility
An 8week orientation is provided to all new hires
Shifts:
Days:
- 630a7p (3) 12hr shifts
- 630a5p (4) 10hr shifts
Evenings:
- 103011p (3) 12hr shifts
- 10309p (4) 10hr shifts
Salary Range: $22.66/hr $32.86/hr
Night: $3.25/hr
Weekend: $2.00/hr
Evening (if working 8/10 hr. shifts): $2.00/hr
On Call Pay: $4.00/hr
Call will be required after hours overnight and weekends. The call is shared equally amongst all surgical techs in the department. There is a 30 minute response time to call.
Duties:
- Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases
- Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN
Qualifications
- 2 years of CST experience is preferred. Will consider candidates that do not have acute care experience
- Valid active CST (Certified Surgical Technician) is required
- Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support cert. within 30 days of employment start date
- Vocational School Graduate
