Job Description: Application Engineering Technical Sales Contract & Project management for Control
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
Designation: Application Engineer / Sr. Application Engineer
Salary: 3 Lacs 6 Lacs p.a. CTC
Employment: Tecnik Payroll (Permanent FullTime)
Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and targeting potential clients in the manufacturing industry to promote and sell the companys products and services
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and meet sales targets
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients through regular communication product demonstrations and presentations
  • Study & Understand Client Requirements
  • Valve sizing & selection based on process application
  • Coordination with consultants/clients & engineering companies
  • Identify Electrical area classification & corelating that with client need
  • Decide the instrumentation requirements related to client specification
  • Maintaining an MIS of Active Proposals / Clients
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Monitoring market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for business growth and development
  • Follow up with customers to negotiate & finalize mutually agreeable commercial terms issuance of purchase order.
  • Prepare weekly & monthly reports for MIS Submissions

Application:
Sizing the control valves based on the application and process conditions provided in customer datasheet and in accordance with international standards (ISA / ASME / API).
To advise the suitable technical solution to customer with compliance to the project specifications and Global end user control valve standards.
Sizing and Selection of Globe valves Ball valves Butterfly valves (Resilient seated eccentric disc triple offset).
Sizing and selection of electrical and pneumatic actuators with Control accessories for Control and Onoff applications.
Basic knowledge on Sizing and selection of GasOverOil actuators along with the required accessories for Pipeline projects.
Analysis of Project Specifications
Submit Technical & Commercial Quote.
Mandatory & Commissioning Spares Preparation
Submit & Receive approval from customer for GAD QAP & Data Sheet.
Sizing & Selection of control valves:
1. Selecting multistage pressure let down trims for cavitation duty to eliminate or reduce the effect of cavitation.
2. Selecting hard faced trim options for flashing cavitation & applications involving complicated process fluid that contains sand.
3. Selecting trickle (needle) type trims for very low CV applications.
4. Recommending MLT (Multi Labyrinth Trim) for very high pressure drop applications.
5. Recommending suitable material combinations (Body and trim material) for process fluids with sand particles high chloride content high H2S contents etc.
6. Selecting suitable actuators (Pneumatic Electrical Rotary and Electro Hydraulic) for the calculated valve thrust to achieve a smooth operation.
7. Selecting the required accessories with better accuracy for effective function of valve against the customer requirements.
8. Recommending butterfly valves for low pressure drop with high flow applications.
9. Recommending Globe valves for high pressure drop applications.
10. Selecting Choke valves as per API 6A specifications based on process data application severity of process fluid piping arrangement etc.
11. Selecting expander & baffle combinations along with the valve for the high noise / outlet velocity services.
12. Proper selection of valves for important applications like separators water injection gas
injection gas lift condensate overboard dump firewater pressure control flare metering deaerator etc
Technical Sales:
Prepare submit and followup quotations to customers in oil & gas sectors.
Executing the project by being the single point contact for both technical and commercial Queries. To analyze customer specifications Sizing and selection of valves & actuator along with suitable accessories to recommend the most appropriate solutions both technically and commercially.
Provide timely & accurate quotations and technical support to the customer and Field sales Engineers to meet division s business goals.
Find out the best solution to become L1 as technically as well as commercially to bag the project in our favor.
Works closely with Business Units Product Engineering and Factory for engineered specials quotations and help in the designing aspects.
Interface with the suppliers & subvendors to resolve technical issues and in case of any deviations understand the reasons thereof and decide the feasibility of continuing with the existing arrangement.
To correspond the customer by presenting them technical write up and presentation and to convince them the technical solution with suitable case studies.
Contract & Project Management:
Project execution planning and internal contract review meeting.
Attending Kick off meetings at client site & web screen sharing to freeze the all technical and quality points.
Preparing Order Acknowledgement Contract review Quality Approval Plan for the orders received and submitting the same to customer for approval.
Internal communication of project specific requirements to the design purchase planning & quality team to proceed the production activities.
Coordinating the Third Party inspection and customer visit inspection to our factory.
Preparing Final documentation and manufacturing data book.
Legal documents follow up (i.e. SCOMET license LC Bank Guarantee etc)
Payment terms follow up.
Supporting purchase team in placing the PO for bought out actuator & other accessories by providing them the project specific details.
Analyzing major constraints in order execution stage and providing prior information to clients and internal customers by identifying risks and proposing the suitable solution
PO amendment and order acknowledgment.
Preparation Manufacturing Schedule & progress report for every month.
Customers Satisfaction and Performance review after installation.
