Staff nurse for Rajpura Punjab location

Overview

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications dressing wounds and monitoring vital signs
• Assess and evaluate patients needs develop and implement nursing care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and protocols
• Document patients medical information and maintain accurate patient records
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Support and educate patients and their families on disease management and recovery
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to evidencebased practice
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff
• Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Nursing or relevant field
• Valid nursing license and registration with the State Nursing Council
• Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or similar role in a healthcare setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and nursing care procedures
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology and patient care best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare software
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle varying workload demands
