Overview
As a Neurosurgeon Consultant at our healthcare facility in Nizamabad Telangana you will play a key role in providing specialized medical care to patients with neurological conditions. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain spinal cord and peripheral nerves and performing surgical interventions as necessary. This position is crucial in delivering highquality healthcare services and ensuring the wellbeing of our patients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct neurosurgical consultations and assessments of patients to diagnose neurological conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Perform surgical procedures to treat neurological disorders such as brain and spinal cord tumors traumatic injuries and vascular abnormalities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to provide comprehensive care for neurosurgery patients including pre and postoperative management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI CT scans and Xrays to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.
- Provide guidance and support to medical and nursing staff on neurosurgical techniques patient care and treatment protocols.
- Participate in clinical research publication and presentation of neurosurgical advancements and findings.
- Adhere to ethical professional and legal standards in the practice of neurosurgery and patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in oncall schedules and respond to emergency neurosurgical cases as needed.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding neurological conditions treatment options and postoperative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in neurosurgery and incorporate best practices into clinical care.
- Participate in professional development activities continuing medical education and mentorship of medical trainees.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies regulatory requirements and safety protocols in neurosurgical practice.
- Contribute to building a positive and collaborative work environment within the neurosurgery department and across the organization.
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Neurosurgery from a recognized medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification by the appropriate neurological surgery board.
- Licensure to practice as a neurosurgeon in the state of Telangana India.
- Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of neurosurgical procedures with precision and skill.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating complex neurological disorders including brain and spinal tumors vascular malformations and trauma.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decisionmaking abilities in neurosurgical interventions and patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues patients and their families.
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in neurosurgical practice and patient care.

- Experience in conducting and publishing clinical research in the field of neurosurgery is desirable.
