Job Description
TPF Recruitment are recruiting for a great firm of chartered accountants based in Chatham who is searching for an Accounts & Tax Senior Accountant to join their successful and experienced team. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fast growing modern and forward thinking practice that has a great reputation in Kent and across the South East. As you develop within this firm and role you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands on role delivering accounts management accounts VAT bookkeeping and planning services to a range of key clients within the firm and progressing in your career.
You will focus on the delivery of accounts management accounts VAT bookkeeping and planning services to a range of key clients within the firm which range from sectors including manufacturing professional services marketing sales start ups etc.

Requirements
- The ideal candidate for this Accounts & Tax Senior Accountant opportunity in Chatham will have relevant previous experience in a practice and will have completed or nearly completed their ACA/ACCA qualification or be equivalently experienced.
- Strong experience within an accountancy practice carrying out accounts preparation VAT and tax preparation.
- Experience of both corporate and not for profit clients would be advantageous.
- 35 years practical experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Prior experience of cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks Sage or Xero
Benefits
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senir or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
