As a Technical Security Engineer you will:
  • Set up Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) based on Elastic (ELK) technology at several clients.
  • Translate SIEM use cases into technical realization in ANY technology.
  • Work in a Windows server environment (server 2019 and newer versions) Microsoft HyperV and with Redhat.
  • Set up Elactic Agents and push these agents from a central fleet server in an offline environment.
  • Process logging network logging in SIEM.
  • Create dashboards in Kibana (Elastic).
  • Gain insight into large amounts of log data with Logstash (Elastic).
What You Bring to the Table:
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Technical Security Officer (TSO) or similar position.
  • Experience processing network logging.
  • Experience with SIEM implementation in an offline environment.
  • HBOlevel work and thinking.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English language.
  • Ability to start with a valid Certificate of Good Conduct and undergo a VGBB screening.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Work from home after a training period at the office with the expectation of 50/50 work from home/office.
  • Analyze security information and event data.
  • Focus on customer needs.
  • Be resultoriented.
