Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the workplace complies with safety standards and regulations and for promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all health and safety regulations and standards.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of safety practices.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate any accidents or incidents to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections incidents and training sessions.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving safety processes and practices.
• Safety Equipment: Ensure that all safety equipment is maintained and in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
• Education: A degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Certification: Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH or OSHA are highly desirable.
• Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attributes: Attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• The position may require working in various environments including offices factories and construction sites.
• The candidate must be willing to travel to different locations as needed.
