Job Summary
This position is primarily a field engagement that includes client support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drawing schedules for field and workshop jobs in conjunction with the Technical Manager.
- Ensure workshop tools and office equipment are in proper working conditions.
- Requisition and accountability for workshop tools and any other technical requirements.
- Network and Technical Proposal writing and Drawing of Network Schematics
- Preparation in conjunction with Marketing Executive s Product Demonstrations Power point Presentations and Proof of concept (POC).
- Product Delivery installation and configuration.
- On site/Field support to Company clients.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the Technical Manager or the Managing Director.
Requirements
Degree postgraduate or diploma in IT
Minimum of three years proven Technical Support
Have a wider knowledge of computer and internet operations.
Selfdirected keen to details multitasking skills and confidence.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and networking ability
A team player who can work well in an energetic dynamic and deadline oriented environment.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
Must be willing to travel far and wide.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude always;
IT skills with experience in Installation Configuration and Support of; Microsoft Sophos FortiGate DLP Kaspersky Endpoint WAN and LAN.
Understanding of the Information Technology (IT) marketplace.
Strong report writing skills including internal and field reporting
Demonstrated experience in developing processes to obtain leads through comparison and evaluation of possible sourcing opportunities;
Experience in positions requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment
Proven ability to achieve goals
