Title: Sr .NET Developer

Job Description:

• This resource should have a strong Microsoft.NET development background with extensive experience using Visual Studio 2022 C# ASP.NET .Net 6 or higher Blazor and Microsoft SQL server experience required.
  
• The position requires the ability to design and build new webbased applications that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards.
  

Required Skills:

• 10 years of handson software development experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in leading teams at a technical level.
  
• Handson .NET Core experience. 4 years experience in doing so is preferred.
  
• Hands on experience with Blazor and its related technologies. At least a year experience in building frontend using Blazor is preferred.
  
• Handson experience in building and consuming WebAPIs. 5 years experience in doing so is preferred.
  
• Good understanding of API documentation.
  
• Good understanding of OAuth.
  
• Handson experience in integrating with 3rd party services especially payment processing.
  
• Deep understanding and experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.
  
• Handson development and finetuning experience with SQL Server.
  
• Proven experience in designing better user interfaces.
  
• If you can share some UIs that you ve built that d be great.
  
• Well versed in jQuery and its ecosystem.
  
• Experience in creating SSRS Reports and SSIS packages.
  
• Experience in troubleshooting legacy applications in ASP.NET WebForms JavaScript and jQuery.
  
• Handson experience in leveraging Azure DevOps at a matured level for development activities.
  
• Knowledge and experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines in Azure DevOps using PowerShell scripts.
  
• Handson experience with Git.
  
• Clear understanding and experience with unit testing.
  
• Experience in directly working and interacting with the business users gathering business requirements and converting them to technical specifications.
  
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
  
• Excellent technical documentation skills leveraging Visio.
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Experience with .NET 6 or higher.
  
• Azure Cloud experience.
  
• Wellversed with Razor pages and CSHTML.
  
• Familiarity with any of the modern CSS frameworks.
  
• Good understanding of Dependency Injection and how it works.
  
• Experience and understanding of AutoMapper or an alternative tool.
  
• Good understanding and exposure to PowerShell scripting.
  
• Some basic understanding of GIS and the core concepts involving location.
  
• Some exposure to Veracode AppScan or any of the AppSec tools.
  
• Some handson involvement in modernizing legacy applications.
