Solution Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design describe and manage the engineering of solutions in relation to specific business problems. The Solution Architect will ensure the alignment of technology solutions with business requirements maintain consistency with architectural standards and lead the design of innovative highquality costeffective solutions.

Location Chennai Cochin

Key Roles & Accountabilities:

• Solution Engineering: Design describe and manage the solution engineering for specific business problems. Ensure technology solutions align with business problems and maintain traceability of solutions and implementation design to business requirements.

• Architecture Review: Prepare and provide information requested for architecture review. Ensure consistency in solution design with respect to architectural standards design and reuse of components/patterns.

• CrossDomain Collaboration: Work across architecture domains to develop solutions that close gaps and ensure a cohesive architectural framework.

• Mentoring and Coaching: Provide mentoring and coaching to other design leads or development resources within project/portfolio teams.

• Innovation and CostEffectiveness: Lead and design technology solutions that are innovative costeffective highquality and enable timely delivery to business customers.

• Subject Matter Expert: Act as the subject matter expert for programs serving as the endtoend system architecture authority. Responsible for architecture solution design and impact assessment based on business requirements.

• Architecture Artifacts: Create or collaborate with teams to create application architecture artifacts design frameworks standards and best practices based on the technologies used.

• Coordination and Collaboration: Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical staff. Collaborate with Project Managers to provision estimates and develop overall solution implementation plans.

• System Design: Lead system design activities or review system designs to ensure application solutions exhibit high levels of performance security scalability maintainability reusability and reliability upon deployment.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Preferred TOGAF Certified. Extensive experience in solution architecture in areas including but not limited to tools application platforms (Microservices EventDriven Architecture Cloudnative API SOA etc.).

• Experience: Relevant experience in ES functions and/or business units.

• Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to take ownership of the architecture underpinning specific solutions delivered by transformation programs.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution designs including conceptual logical and physical views of the architecture.
  • Strong knowledge in developing solution architecture requirements both functional and nonfunctional for both packaged Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) packages and customized solutions.
  • Experience in developing data architecture to support the information needs of the business.
