Job Description
Collaborate with the frontend and design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into backend functionalities.
Develop custom Magento modules and extensions using PHP adhering to Magento 2 coding standards and best practices.
Implement and configure Magentos backend features including customer management order processing inventory management and payment gateways.
Integrate and customize thirdparty systems and APIs to ensure seamless data exchange and functionality.
Optimize backend performance by implementing caching mechanisms database optimizations and efficient coding practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure highquality backend deliverables.
Collaborate with the QA team to address any backendrelated issues or bugs.
Stay updated with the latest Magento 2 backend development practices tools and technologies.
Provide guidance and support to junior backend developers if applicable.
Requirements
Required Technical Skills:
Programming Language: Proficiency in PHP.
Web Technologies: HTML CSS JavaScript.
Databases: MySQL.
eCommerce Platform: Magento 2.
Mandatory Skills: Magento 2 backend development module development Magento 2 architecture Magento 2 database structure Magento 2 APIs Graphql Ui component Knockout JS.
Optional Skills: Composer PHPUnit REST/SOAP APIs Elasticsearch Hyva Theme Module Compatibility.
Certification: Magento 2 Developer Certification (optional).
Total Experience:
Minimum of 56 years of overall web development experience.
Relevant Experience:
5 years of experience working specifically with Magento 2 backend development.
Experience in developing custom modules and extensions for Magento 2.
Experience in integrating thirdparty systems and APIs with Magento 2.
Requirements: At least 1 year of experience with SaaS products; Experience as a business analyst in software design / development or experience in e-commerce on the customer's side; Experience with Jira / Confluence or other task / requirement control systems; Fluent English (B2+, spoken and written); Knowledge of Google tools, Excel and other data analysis tools (mix panel, amplitude, customer.io, hotjar, segment.io, amplitude, etc.); Excellent communication skills; The ability to draw conclusions based on data and logically explain your position; The ability to understand a new issue quickly / industry for you; The ability to prioritize. Will be a huge plus: Work experience and/or Scrum/Agile courses; Knowledge of E-commerce platforms (Shopify, Bigcommerce, SAP Hybris); Experience in UI / UX, skills of rapid (draft) interface prototyping; Analytical skills and abilities.
