Our Client is one of the top architectural construction & real estate development company located in Lagos. They currently have an opening for a Managing director
Job Overview: We are offering an exciting opportunity to lead a premier design and build firm. The role demands overseeing our innovative projects in office design and expanding into hospitality and residential sectors guiding the companys growth both in Nigeria and internationally. The Managing Director will champion sustainable and technologically advanced design practices within a scalable datadriven framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Global Vision: Develop and implement business strategies that boost operational efficiency and financial viability incorporating global market trends and sustainable practices.
Scalable Growth and Efficiency: Implement business strategies that enhance growth and streamline operations across various projects and regions.
Innovation in Design and Technology: Lead in architectural and interior design innovations utilizing advanced digital tools and methodologies.
Operational and Financial Oversight: Ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and exceed expectations. Manage financial planning to surpass profitability targets.
Dynamic Market Adaptation: Rapidly adapt business strategies to meet changing market demands and opportunities.
Team and Culture Development: Foster a highperformance culture that attracts retains and develops top talent emphasizing an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
Dynamic Sales Marketing and Partnership: Overhaul sales marketing and partnership strategies to build sustainable deal flow.
Enhanced Stakeholder Engagement: Deepen relationships with clients collaborators and community partners and actively participate in industry forums to raise the firm s profile.
Requirements:
Professional Credentials: Bachelors in Architecture Project Management or related field. Masters in Business Administration; additional certifications in project management are highly valued.
Experience: At least 20 years of professional experience predominantly in leadership roles focused on project management business development and strategic oversight within the design and construction industry. Must have a strong network in the industry to help secure partners and new business.
Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with a proven ability to use financial metrics and operational KPIs to make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills adept at negotiation and public speaking.
