Job Description

The International Potato Center (CIP) is currently seeking a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a Budget & Planning Intern at our Headquarters in Lima Peru. As a Budget & Planning Intern you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our Budget & Planning subunit department in Finance working closely with our Senior Finance Manager.


Responsabilities:

  • The intern will be involved in the following training activities:
  • Support in the Monitoring of Operational Budget / Expenses (Institutional Services Units and Capital).
  • Upload & Update the financial information in the System.
  • Services Units Operation and Research: Costing and Monitoring.
  • Institutional Budget Monthly Reports and analysis.
  • Reports: Analysis of main variations: Institutional Operation and Research Service Units.


Requirements

What are we looking for

  • Pursuing 7th to 8th Semester or recently graduated of Finance Accounting Economics or Business Administration belonging to the upper third of their faculty (indispensable requirement).
  • Moreover they possess a solid understanding of financial and budgetary principles and Data Analysis.
  • Advanced level of MS Office specifically Excel.
  • English command: Intermediate or advanced (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to learn and strong teamwork skills.
