Manager Senior Manager - Supply Chain

About the company:

Our client is the fastestgrowing Korean convenience store chain and they are looking for a dynamic and detailoriented individual to fill the vital role of Assistant Manager Retail Development. This position will require to ensure that the convenience stores are always stocked with the right products enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the convenience stores business goals and customer demand patterns.
• Plan and forecast inventory needs for each store to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts/Out Of Stock.

2. Operations Management:

• Oversee the supply chain operations including procurement inventory management and logistics tailored for convenience stores.
• Ensure efficient and timely replenishment of stock to all store locations.

3. Team Leadership:

• Lead mentor and develop the supply chain team including store managers and logistics staff.
• Promote a collaborative and stakeholders focused work environment.

4. Vendor and Supplier Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
• Negotiate contracts to secure the s quality and delivery terms for products and services from 3rd Party Logistic / warehousing.

5. Cost Management:

• Monitor and control supply chain costs focusing on optimizing procurement and distribution expenses.
• Implement cost saving measures without affecting product quality or store availability.

6. Inventory Control:

• Manage inventory levels for each store balancing the need to reduce excess stock with ensuring product availability.
• Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize waste and spoilage especially for perishable items.

7. Logistics and Distribution:

• Oversee logistics and distribution to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to each store.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline transportation and reduce delivery times.

8. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements specific to convenience store offerings.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain product integrity from supplier to store shelf.

9. Technology and Systems:

• Utilize technology to optimize supply chain processes including automated ordering systems and realtime inventory tracking.
• Implement and maintain supply chain management systems tailored for convenience store operations.

10. Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain such as supply disruptions or seasonal demand fluctuations.
• Develop contingency plans to handle supply chain disruptions and ensure continuous store operation.

11. Performance Metrics:

• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to convenience store supply chain operations such as order fulfilment rates delivery times and inventory turnover.
• Analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency and store availability.

12. Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including store managers and area manager to align supply chain activities with store needs.
• Provide regular updates on supply chain performance and initiatives focusing on store readiness and product availability.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of working experience
  
• Preferably from Logistic / Warehouse that handle chill and frozen products

Remuneration:

RM 8000 RM 11000
