Payroll Clerk

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detailoriented and organized individual to join our Finance Department as a Payroll Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll procedures exceptional numerical aptitude and a dedication to maintaining confidentiality. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our finance team and contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll function.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees
• Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies
• Calculate wages deductions and withholdings
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
• Assist with payrollrelated projects and initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field preferred
• Proven 2 years of experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of payroll principles and practices
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
