Job Description

Job Description: The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for administering and managing the companys employee benefits programs for 4000 employees. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and providing support and analysis for benefitsrelated initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday and Kronos strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of employee benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage all aspects of the companys employee benefits programs including health dental vision life insurance disability retirement plans and wellness programs.
  • Process enrollments changes and terminations in benefits plans using Workday and Kronos systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries providing timely and accurate information and assistance.
  • Maintain and update employee benefits data in Workday and Kronos systems.
  • Ensure accurate integration and data transfer between Workday Kronos and other relevant systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues related to benefits administration.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local benefits regulations including ACA COBRA ERISA HIPAA and FMLA.
  • Prepare and file required benefits reports and documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze benefits data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Prepare and present reports on benefits enrollment utilization costs and other metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of benefits strategies and initiatives based on data analysis.

Employee Communication and Education:

  • Develop and conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Create and distribute benefits communication materials including brochures emails and intranet updates.
  • Organize and lead benefits information sessions and workshops for employees.

Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with benefits vendors and brokers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment process including communication system setup and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure highquality benefits offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in Workday and Kronos systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
